President, Darrell Paquin, our 2010/2011 "Angler of the Year," has agreed to another year of guiding Clearwater Bass Club as we continue to grow as an organization. With only one season under his belt, our president showed he can fish garnering top honors for the season. Not only is Darrell an excellent fisherman, but if you learn nothing else about him, this guy is enjoyable to be around. He truly enjoys the "fishing thing" and it shows in everything he does. With his humor and his style, we are fortunate we have someone who puts the fun in this game we play. Thanks for "runnin' the show" pardner.
Vice President, David Little, one of our newer members (joining last August), has agreed to take over the "Veep" duties helping guide this club. Also, new to this "sweet water" thing, David is already on the climb towards being a solid competitor. Steady in his style, he will serve as an excellent "wing man" for our president. David has also agreed to pitch in with the newsletter duties, bringing a writing style we will enjoy throughout the season. One thing about this club, we seem to always get members willing to do more than their share in keeping this club moving forward. David is just that type of gentleman fisherman. We are fortunate to have him with us !
Secretary / Treasurer, John Fugate, another of our "Young Turks" (translation: young up-and-coming quality fisherman), put together a solid performance in his first full season with Clearwater Bass Club garnering a post season appearance in our 2010/2100 Classic on Lake June-in-Winter. Starting as a non-boater only 20 months ago, next moving to "front seater" status and boating that "7.96" on Toho back in October, then a "Classic" appearance, John is proving he's "gettin' it dialed in" ! Add to all that, he has mastered the "ins and outs" of running Clearwater Bass Club from a financial standpoint. We are pleased to have John with us as he is another in the "youth movement" that bodes well for our club. We are definitely in "good hands" !
Co-Tournament Directors, Bill Poirier, our 15-time "Top Ten" member with 3 "Classic Champ" titles under his belt and Norm Whitten, have agreed to share responsibilities this next season, taking on the toughest job we have in Clearwater Bass Club. As a longtime member, Bill brings years of experience to the job and there is no doubt in our mind that he will mentor Norm (2010 "Top Ten" contender) in the art of "callin' 'em as they sees 'em" (sometimes ya gotta be firm at weighin) ! So, strap on the "shin-guards" and "make the call" ! |
