Jerry Bischoff jumped out to a substantial lead Saturday with 4 keepers weighing 16 pounds even ! And yes, that IS A BIG BASS ! 10 pounds 1 ounce. WOW !!! Fabulous, "JB" !

Proving the "old adage" that blind squirrels can find acorns, Chuck Bearce was in Second Place with 3 keepers weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces,

Bill “Billy Basser” Poirier took 3rd Place with 2 @ 4 pounds 8 ounces !

3:30 am, Bob Gwinn (l.) and Jerry Bischoff couldn't wait to get goin' ! Only 15 minutes from the lake, these guys would wake up the soundest sleeper while enjoying the ''quiet'' before gettin' to fishin' !!!

Buddy Doyle (l.) got help from Bill Poirier to show the 3 that got Buddy his ''Sunday 1st'' ! Excellent catch, Buddy !!!

Chuck Bearce - 2nd Place !!!

Jerry ''JB'' Bischoff - 3rd Place !!!

Buddy Doyle came back on Sunday (1st Place) with 3 keepers totaling 12 pounds 8 ounces ! That "kicker" you see there weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces, the "BF" winner on Sunday. Way to finish strong, "BD" !!!

Again, adding to his 3 on Saturday, Chuck Bearce put 3 more in the boat totaling 8 pounds 9 ounces for a Sunday "Second" !

Jerry “JB” Bischoff stayed in front overall with 2 keepers on Sunday (3rd Place) weighing 3 pounds 2 ounces ! You didn't really need to catch anything to whip our butt "JB" !  Excellent job !

Editor's Note: Scott Ellis's (7th Place) "loner" on Sunday was the smallest fish weighed (1 pound 1 ounce) for the entire tournament ! It was decided that considering the amount of larger fish caught, it would be a disservice to that fish to show its picture.

Sunday "Big Fish"

Buddy Doyle - Sunday ''Big Fish'' and 2nd Place overall. Well done, Buddy !!!

Jerry Bischoff - ''Classic Champ'' and ''Classic Big Fish'' !!!

Buddy Doyle had numerous bad things happen after this "biggin" (7 pounds 5 ounces) bit, but with the help of his "backseater" David DeBardeleben, Buddy got this fish to the scales. I think that look is a sigh of relief after all was said and done. Nice fish, Buddy !

Jerry Bischoff - 19 pounds 2 ounces total weight, Saturday "Big Fish" and "Classic Champ." The culmination of a most excellent season, huh Jerry ! Congratulations ! P.S. Jerry used #12 test line to pull that "load" out of the grass. Now, that's skill in anyone's book.
